December 15, 2025 | Troy Martin, LogistiQ Marketing Specialist
(Port Clinton, Ohio) -- LogistiQ, a leading vertically integrated provider of conveyor and material handling solutions for the e-commerce and parcel logistics market, today announced a major expansion in Northern Ohio in partnership with its sister company, LEWCO. Together, the companies plan to create more than 200 new jobs, including 170 positions at LogistiQ’s Port Clinton operations and 30 positions at LEWCO’s Sandusky facility, to meet growing national demand for advanced material handling and conveyor systems.
LogistiQ’s expansion in Port Clinton represents a capital investment of approximately $15.5 million, including $10 million in building-related investments such as facility enhancements—and $5.5 million in machinery and new equipment to support increased production capacity and advanced manufacturing operations.
The 170 new positions at LogistiQ will span a range of functions, including approximately 35 roles in engineering and project management, 15 positions supporting office and administrative operations, and 120 roles across assembly, welding, CNC machining, and production support. Together, these positions will strengthen LogistiQ’s vertically integrated operations and support continued growth in design, manufacturing, and system delivery capabilities.
The remaining 30 jobs will be created by LEWCO in Sandusky, supporting its continued growth as a manufacturer of industrial conveyor systems and ovens serving a broad range of industrial markets.
“What makes this especially meaningful is the opportunity to build a world-class, nationally competitive company right here at home,” said Emily Guerra Martucci, President of LogistiQ. “From Port Clinton, our team is designing, engineering, and delivering systems that support some of the most recognizable and influential companies in the world. It’s incredibly rewarding to demonstrate that a company rooted in Ottawa County can lead the nation in its field, attract top-tier customers, and create meaningful career pathways for local talent.”
The combined LogistiQ and LEWCO expansion strengthens Northern Ohio’s role as a hub for advanced manufacturing while reinforcing the companies’ vertically integrated approach to design, fabrication, assembly, and system delivery.
“We are sincerely grateful to JobsOhio, Team NEO, and the Ottawa County Improvement Corporation for their support and collaboration,” Martucci added. “As we continue investing in our facilities, optimizing operations, and expanding our workforce, we remain committed to growing in Ohio and building a long-term foundation of
opportunity for the community we proudly call home.”
The project was announced in collaboration with Governor Mike DeWine, JobsOhio, Team NEO, the Regional Growth Partnership, the Greater Sandusky Partnership, and the Ottawa County Improvement Corporation, whose combined efforts helped advance the expansion and support long-term economic growth in the region.
